As we enter into the season of abundance, it’s only fitting that we happen to be expanding our in-house team with the addition of a Pastry Sous Chef. We look forward to having our guests get to know this lovely new member of our team, and we’re also excited to share that this change will help us to expand our sweet and savory offerings throughout the coming months.
One major benefit to our guests is that this will allow us to accommodate pastry pre-orders on our website for the very first time. (Stay tuned for real-time updates on Instagram!) So if you have a special event—or even a small gathering—coming up, we would love to help you treat your guests to something special. PS - For all our regulars who have encountered longer lead times on olive oil cake orders, we’re also hoping this team expansion will provide increased flexibility to serve you!
Speaking of special events and gatherings, we all know that Mother’s Day is around the corner. This year, we will be offering small bouquets for purchase, as well as a wide range of eye-catching desserts, including frangipane tarts, chocolate tartlets with Maldon salt, macarons, fresh fruit tarts, scones, full-size and mini olive oil cakes, cardamom buns and our signature shortbreads. And, of course, for those seeking other gift ideas for mom, we have plenty of new spring items on our shelves—many of which are sourced from small, female-owned businesses.
Last but not least: supper club season is officially upon us! If you’ve been waiting to buy tickets for these intimate dinners on our patio, all dates are now available, and we look forward to gathering with you.

FLAVORS OF THE MONTH
While our shortbread cookie flavors continue to evolve, this month we’re featuring two new seasonal drinks. Our fan-favorite Lavender Latte has returned to the menu, alongside a brand new Vanilla-Rose Latte—both of which can be enjoyed hot or iced!

We’ve recently started carrying artfully curated terrariums from local florist Rose Dreisbach, and we’re thrilled to announce that she will be hosting a DIY workshop on our patio later this month! These botanical works of art are absolutely stunning, longer lasting than flowers and very satisfying to create from scratch. Class participants will also enjoy light snacks and seasonal mocktails from Süti & Co.
LIVE MUSIC
This month, we’re excited to add a new artist to our live music rotation: the “bohemian blues” of D’Lovelies, a swing band based in Lyons, CO. We’ll also be bringing back our dear friend Zivi Masango for a lively set that will undoubtedly have you dancing on our patio.
