Make yourself at home.

In good hands.

While my Danish heart will always hold a special place for the slow months of winter, when it comes to the kitchen, there’s no season more exciting than summer. As we patiently wait for our patio planters to sprout—with violas, calendula, nasturtium, basil, dill, thyme and so much more!—we find ourselves quite literally buzzing with the energy of this brighter, lighter season.

Growing our own herbs and edible flowers is just one of the ways we infuse a handmade quality into everything we make at the café. From pickling produce and crafting various finishing sugars and salts, to sourcing locally milled flour and kneading endless types of pastry dough, our two-person baking team prepares practically every ingredient—with the exception of smoked salmon and Moxie Bread Co.’s incredible dark, seeded rye bread—in our tiny back-of-house kitchen.

Last month, as we celebrated the beginning of our Supper Club season, I found myself reflecting on why this handcrafted element is so essential to the Süti & Co. experience. On a chilly May evening, an intimate group of regulars came together on our patio, trading stories and enjoying a stunning meal around a shared table. Gathering with these friendly faces to serve plates inspired by my personal memories… it felt like a homecoming. And every time you step inside our doors, that feeling of comfort—of home—is what we also hope to spark for you.

June Happenings

FLAVORS OF THE MONTH

Back by popular demand: Our s’mores-inspired Campfire cookie features graham cracker shortbread, caramel ganache, dark chocolate ganache and housemade marshmallows. These have a habit of flying out of the display case, so grab them while they’re fresh each day!

JUNE WORKSHOPS

This month, we’re excited to collaborate with two lovely local artists: florist Olivia Rowland and potter Andi Kilness. Olivia is both a doula and floral designer (blooming in all ways!), and she has previously provided small bouquets at our shop for several different holidays. Andi is a small-batch ceramicist known as Good Hearted Woman, whose stoneware always sells out on our shelves. Purchase tickets at the links below:
